Cooked by the sun

On the last week of the holidays Phillip was faced with half an hour of sitting in the sun with no hat and no sun screen.

On  wednesday Phillip decided to go outside and sunbathe next to his cat baxter outside. What phillip did not realise that it was so hot in Auckland he needed not just a hat but also sunscreen.

It was about 24 degrees that day and a perfect day for the beach but he couldn’t because he had to go to pak, n,save.

Lucky phillips mum fran came to the rescue because she had finished her jobs took philip into the shade of pak,n,save.

If she did not come he would have got sun burn

And if he stayed even longer he might have got skin cancer that is why you should always have a hat and some sun screen.

Start writing here:  As i'm sitting on the beach i see two exited and happy dogs bounding past me.

There tails wagging madly as their tongues hang out tasting the salty beach air.

As they splash through the water the waves crash against there bodys pushing them closer and closer to me. With every step they get wetter and wetter while having to jump and dodge rocks and shells that are littered all across the beach. They smell the salty air all around them as they push the waves crashing against them and every now and then shaking the refreshing water of so it doesn't weigh them down. The smell of fish and chips wafts into their nostrils, they think about finding where it's coming from but still do not stop for rest.

Hi my name is Phillip i’m 10 years old and i’m from Room 23 at Owairaka Primary School in Auckland.

This christmas  I am going to go on holiday to Tanzania for 3 weeks then London for 2 weeks then France 1 week. I hope you are going to do something exciting for your holiday and spend time with family.   This is my Christmas letter to an random eldorly person it was fun to make. the reason we are doing this is so anyone who is not spending time with family so they can feel happy. hope you liked it. :)
